Birthday Care Package & Sunshine Printables
Not long ago, I put together a little box of sunshine. The whole process was a lot of fun.
In today’s post, I’m sharing the box of sunshine printable I made to go with the gift. I created 5 different cute designs for you to choose from.
If you haven’t heard about this idea before:
A box full of sunshine (also known as a sunshine box) is yellow themed care package or gift basket. There are no hard set rules for what to include. Which means you’re free to get as creative as you want.
I love giving unique gifts. I really enjoyed looking for and finding different yellow things to include.

My Little Box of Sunshine Gift
There are so many delightful face masks with yellow packaging. They’re perfect for this DIY gift because who doesn’t love a little skin pampering?
I couldn’t pick just one! So I ended up with a nice selection.
Everything fit nicely into a large flat rate box that I picked up from the Post Office.
See that Mermaid Salt Scrub? I scored it at T.J.Maxx.
Be sure to browse stores like that if you’re going to make your own box of sunshine. You can definitely find hidden gems there. Plus, you’ll save money.
This is how I arranged everything inside before sealing and mailing it. The candles were the only thing I worried about breaking. But wrapping them in paper did the trick as they arrived intact.
My friend loved getting it in the mail for her birthday!
This kind of care package is great for more than just birthdays, though. A box of sunshine gift is the perfect pick-me-up surprise for guys and girls. There’s no sweeter way to brighten someone’s day.

I was able to pick up some of these things (like the candles) at T.J.Maxx and Marshalls. The others I bought when I saw a good deal on them.

Sending You a Little Box of Sunshine Printable
Now for the sending you a little box of sunshine printable!
Below are 5 different options I created.
Option #1
You’ll recognize this first printable right away. It’s the one I ended using in my care package.
The text reads:
“Just for you – a box of sunshine – hope your birthday is as bright as you.”
I swapped the text, background, and sun colors to make 3 variations.
Option #2
This next graphic has the same wording as the previous one. The design is almost identical, as well.
The difference is that the sun is larger, giving it a rectangular shape instead of a square. You can be sure that the joyful face will bring a smile wherever he’s sent!
Option #3
I created one more box of sunshine birthday printable.
I used a different image of sunshine, but the message remains the same. I also mixed it up with the fonts on this one.
Option #4
The final two free printables aren’t birthday specific. They’re perfect for any occasion that calls for spreading happiness.
This one reads:
“A box full of sunshine for my sunshine.”
Option #5
This sending you a box of sunshine printable has a bit more text.
I added, “to brighten your day,” on the end.
