Mother’s Day’s is May 13th this year and it’s coming fast!
For those of you shopping for a mom who has everything, you’re probably struggling to find good gift ideas. And not just for Mother’s day, but also her birthday and other holidays.
I so know your pain! Usually when I ask my mom what she wants for Mother’s Day, her answer is, “love from my children and my two front teeth.”
While that answer is funny…

For those who don’t know, HelloFresh is a meal delivery service. Well – actually, it’s more than that!
They don’t just deliver pre-made food like pizza. The subscription delivers a box with with everything needed to prepare a fresh, healthy meal.
That includes fresh vegetables, meats and spices which are locally sourced from suppliers. Plus, a nice big recipe card with instructions for preparation.

I can choose from several meal options to feed 2 or 4 people and up to four meals per week. This means on weeks where I’m more busy, I can order more meal kits.
If I know I have more time, I may opt for less meals (although honestly I just love the 4 day a week plan!).
Is mom single?
No problem, choose the 2 person plan and the meals are perfect to share with a friend or use for leftovers the next day.
The recipes are made by chefs with NORMAL people in mind. They each have six easy-to-master steps, take just 20- 40 minutes to make, and require minimal equipment.
The meals are simple to make, yet still creative with flavors.
There are different meals to choose from each week, which can help mom break out of her recipe rut and ensure dinners are never boring.
Seriously, this is a HUGE bonus for me. I hate coming up with new meal ideas.
Delivery days are flexible, and if mom decides to keep the service she can pause or cancel it ANYTIME. There are no hoops to jump through to stop the service (unlike some other subscription companies).
The recipes are balanced, nutritious, and wholesome, so she can feel amazing after making and eating them. This is the perfect gift idea for the mom who has everything (trust me!).

A Quick Personal Review of HelloFresh
At this point in my life, I’ve become the mom who has everything. Because of this, I thought I’d share more my own personal thoughts on HelloFresh!
So, I’ve actually used quite a few meal delivery services. Out of all of them, HelloFresh is my FAVORITE.
I love that everything is delivered to my door – no thinking involved. I’m a busy working mom and have too many other things on my mind.
I don’t have to try to figure out which produce looks best, find correct sizes of meat packages or step into a store with tons of people. I’d rather just have it all taken care of; less things for me to worry about.
Everything is pre-portioned and the recipe cards walk me through the meal step by step. I don’t have to try to figure out what paring, dicing or filleting means – they explain it all.
Get this:
Not all meal delivery services have this! Most of the other ones don’t explain the details and this has left me so confused I gave up on them.
And, did I tell you that their boxes always arrive on time? Nothing sucks worse than planning to have a meal and your box of supplies doesn’t arrive.
With other meal plans, this has happened to me more than I want to admit (threw off my whole week!). In those instances, I usually ended up ordering out (not so healthy, right?).
A waste of time and I spent money I shouldn’t have needed to spend.

The boxes are packed well (everything isn’t thrown around inside) and they have the BEST customer service.
If you have ANY issues, HelloFresh will make sure to correct them immediately.
If a vegetable arrives that is not as fresh as it should be, or damaged from shipping:
It’s as easy as making a phone call to right the problem. They will fix it all and go the extra mile.
By now, I’m sure you can see why a HelloFresh subscription is an AWESOME gift for a mom who has everything.
You’d be gifting her more than just food. It would save her time, help her try new flavors and (possibly) teach her new tricks in the kitchen.
