Every little bit helps and applying to some of these November scholarships could win you money to cover some of the costs.

Here’s a list of upcoming deadlines to be aware of this month.

Scholarships Due in November

AGC Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Award: $2,500
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: High school seniors are not eligible. Open to rising college sophomores, juniors in a four-year program, and rising seniors in a five-year program. Applicant must have a desire for a career in construction, be a full-time student, be enrolled or intend to enroll in either an ABET or an ACCE accredited (or candidate status) program, and pursue a B.S. degree in construction or construction-related engineering.

Submit: Completed application, 2 evaluation forms, and official or unofficial transcript.

AGC Graduate Scholarships

  • Award: $3,750 – $7,500
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: The applicant must be a college senior planning to enroll or enrolled as a part-time or full-time student in an ABET or ACCE-accredited (or candidate status) masters’/doctoral construction management or construction engineering programs for the Fall term of 2023.

Submit: Completed application, 2 evaluation forms, and official or unofficial transcript.

Study Abroad Award

  • Award: $2,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Open to students who want to study abroad at college level. Must be enrolled, or seeking to enroll, in an accredited college or university.

Submit: Short entry form and 150 – 250 word essay.

Overcoming the Impact of Alcoholism and Addiction

  • Award: $2,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Any undergraduate or graduate student who has at least a 3.0 GPA and has been affected by a parent’s addiction may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay responding to the prompt.

Frank J. Vigilante Scholarship

  • Award: $5,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Applicant must be of Italian extraction, demonstrate financial need, and must have high academic achievement. Must must have proof of being admitted to and/or enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education.

Submit: Completed application, proof on enrollment, current transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, self photo, and essay of no more than 500 words.

Greg Lockwood Scholarship

  • Award: $2,500+
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Any high school or undergraduate student who identifies as LGBTQ+ and/or is pursuing a social work degree may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on what change you wish to see in the world and why.

Chadwick D. McNab Memorial Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Undergraduate students are eligible to apply if they are majoring in or planning to major in computer science and related technology fields.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on a project you worked on that you were passionate about and how working in technology inspires you.

Nick and Helena Patti Foundation Scholarship

  • Award: $6,500
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Open to to persons of Italian parentage for assistance in music or education for college students who are orphans or who were raised in foster homes. Primary consideration is given to music majors, but other applicants are considered and encouraged to apply. Must have completed completed at least one year of college level coursework.

Submit: Completed application, current transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, self photo, and essay of no more than 500 words.

Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) Scholarship

  • Award: $1,500
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Applicants must identify as female and be currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. university or college, either full-time or part-time. Applicants must be undergraduate Juniors or Seniors, or enrolled in graduate studies.

Submit: Completed application and 5 – 10 page essay.

Female Empowerment Scholarship

  • Award: $1,500
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate female students are eligible to apply if they are BIPOC students.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on yourself, your early childhood, and how you plan to make a positive impact on the world.

Future Designer Scholarship

  • Award: $2,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 17 years old and at the time of entry are either; a full-time student enrolled in a post-secondary education institution, including junior colleges and vocational schools OR formally accepted into such post-secondary educational institution beginning schooling within the next calendar year.

Submit: Original artwork for a card design.

Sikora Drake STEM Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Any first-generation, BIPOC, female identifying, and/or LGBTQ+ student who is pursuing a degree in STEM may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on why you are pursuing the degree of your choice and explain why diversity in the workplace is important to you.

TeluguPeople for America Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: Students pursuing their bachelor’s degree at a public university are eligible to apply if they come from a low-income background, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and are involved in their community. This scholarship is specifically for students majoring in science, engineering, technology, business, finance, or other related fields.

Submit: 500 – 700 word essay on yourself, your family, your fight against adversity, and your dreams.

Price It Here, Inc. Scholarship Program

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: All applicants must be currently enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited US college or university for the semester that they are applying to receive the scholarship.

Submit: Copy of your school transcript and 500 word essay.

Cybersecurity Scholarship

  • Award: $750
  • Deadline: November 1st

Eligibility: All undergraduate students pursuing a career in cybersecurity are eligible to apply.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on your passion for information security and how you are currently furthering your skills within the industry.

John J. Nelson Sr. Legacy Scholarship

  • Award: $10,000
  • Deadline: November 4th

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate students of African American descent who are currently enrolled in a U.S. not-for-profit CIDA- or NASAD-accredited interior design or NAAB-accredited architecture program.

Submit: A 3-to-5 minute video articulating how the power of design has already impacted your life, and how you will proactively leverage your career in design to positively impact your future clients and community.

Larry E. Sitzman Youth in Nebraska Agriculture Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 10th

Eligibility: Applicant must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a fully accredited college, university or technical college in an agriculture related degree program in Nebraska. Must have at least one full year of study remaining towards degree.

Submit: Online application, resume, and 1 letter of reference.

10 Words or Less Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Anyone who is between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2022 may apply.

Submit: Short online application and 10 words or less response on why you deserve the scholarship.

Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award

  • Award: up to $16,000
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Applicant must be a woman who provides the primary financial support for yourself and your dependents; is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program and does not currently have a graduate degree.

Must also resides in one of Soroptimist International of the Americas’ member countries/territories: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guam, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Taiwan, United States of America, or Venezuela.

Submit: Online application.

ACES: The Society for Editing Scholarships

  • Award: $1,500
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Applicants must be seeking degrees as enrolled college/university juniors, seniors, or graduate students during the summer and/or fall term in 2022. Scholarships are awarded without regard to the student’s major or field of academic concentration.

Submit: Resume, 3 references, and 250 – 500 word responses to prompts.

VFW’s “Sport Clips Help A Hero” Scholarship

  • Award: $5,000
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Applicants must be a citizen of the United States; retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve; separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below; have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, technical school, etc.); and participate in, be accepted to or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Submit: Online application.

Stop-Painting Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Any graduate student, graduate certificate or executive education student currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or related technical program may apply.

Submit: Completed online application and 750+ word essay.

Sahara Hope Scholarship For Women Empowered To Change The World

  • Award: $1,500 – $5,000
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Open to women who are currently admitted/enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university. Must currently reside in the U.S. and have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Submit: Online application, transcript, and 500 – 1,500 word essay.

James Alan Cox Foundation Scholarship for Student Photojournalists

  • Award: $2,500
  • Deadline: November 15th

Eligibility: Must be at least a high school sophomore or older and taken at least one photography or related art class. College or technical applicants must have completed at least one year at a recognized college, university or professional school and have taken courses in photography or photojournalism. Graduate students can apply if they are enrolled in a journalism or photojournalism program.

Submit: Completed application, 250 word essay, 2 letters of reference, school transcript, financial data, and your portfolio (5 images or 2 videos).

AGCVA Tidewater District Scholarship

  • Award: $3,000
  • Deadline: November 19th

Eligibility: To apply you must be a graduating high school senior or a full-time student enrolled in a construction, engineering or design curriculum at an accredited college or university or be currently enrolled in a construction-related course in a vocational school or career development program. All college or university applicants must be entering school during the next academic year to be eligible.

Submit: Online application + evaluation form.

Innovation in Education Scholarship

  • Award: $500
  • Deadline: November 20th

Eligibility: Open to any high school or college student within the U.S. or Canada with a GPA of 3.0+.

Submit: Online application, letter of recommendation, self-photo, and an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation (no min or max word/page count).

ServiceScape Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 29th

Eligibility: Open to students who are attending or who will attend an accredited college, university, or trade school in 2022. Must at least 18 years old.

Submit: Online application and essay of no more than 300 words.

MyMozaic Monthly Scholarship Contest

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 29th

Eligibility: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or are lawfully living in the United States and at least 13 years of age on the date of their entry.

Submit: Your email address. Selection is based on the quality of students’ MyMozaic profile.

Minority Teacher Education Scholarship (MTES)

  • Award: $4,000
  • Deadline: November 30th (application opens Oct. 1st)

Eligibility: To apply you must be a resident of Florida; a member of one of the following racial groups: African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaskan Native; admitted/newly admitted into a state-approved teacher education program; and a junior, senior, or graduate student.

Must also have earned at least 60 credit hours or an AA degree, not have a B.A. in education, and not exceeded 18 credit hours of upper-division education courses.

Submit: Online application and 100 – 300 word essay on how your life experiences have impacted you to go into the field of education.

CollegeXpress No-Essay Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: Nov. 30th

Eligibility: Must be 13+ and a legal resident of the 50 U.S. or D.C.

Submit: Quick online form and one sentence response to the question.

“Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship

  • Award: $25,000+
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: Students at any education level, school, and field of study will be considered. No GPA requirement.

Submit: N/A

“You Can’t Label People, but You Can Label Products” Scholarship by Sttark

  • Award: $4,000
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: If you’re an aspiring designer, manufacturer, engineer, artist, architect, or any other type of innovator, this scholarship is intended for you. The application is open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students. U.S. citizens only.

Submit: 250 words or less bio, proof of education, 1000 word essay, and a label design.

Cappex Easy Money Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 13 or older at the time of entry, and and currently planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university or trade school) located in the United States within four years.

Submit: A quick online form (no essay or minimum GPA requirement).

“Unboxing Your Life” Video Scholarship by Sttark

  • Award: $4,000
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: This application is open to all high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students. U.S. citizens only.

Submit: 250 words or less bio, proof of education, and a 5-minute unboxing video (no shorter than 4 minutes and no longer than 6).

John Galt Solutions Scholarship

  • Award: $10,000
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: Applicants must be a current undergraduate student at an accredited higher education institution in the United States or Canada for the current academic year and be enrolled full-time in supply chain management, business forecasting, or similar major with the intention of seeking a career in the supply chain field.

Submit: Online application, proof of enrollment, and a 500 – 750 word personal statement outlining reasons you should receive the John Galt Scholarship – see FAQ for details on what to include.

Education Matters Scholarship

  • Award: $5,000
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: Applicant must be at least 13 years old.

Submit: 250 word response to the prompt.

Bachus & Schanker, LLC Scholarship

  • Award: $2,000
  • Deadline: November 30th

Eligibility: Open to any high school senior accepted to attend a four-year university by the time of the award, or full-time student attending a four-year university in the United States who carries a 3.0 GPA.

Submit: 800+ word essay about your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life.
