2022 November Scholarship Deadlines

Need money to pay for college? I hear ya–college tuition is expensive!
But:
Applying to some of these November scholarships might help cover some of the costs.
Here’s a list of upcoming deadlines to be aware of this month.

Scholarships Due in November
Study Abroad Award
Eligibility: Open to students who want to study abroad at college level. Must be enrolled, or seeking to enroll, in an accredited college or university.
Submit: Short entry form and 150 – 250 word essay.
Frank J. Vigilante Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicant must be of Italian extraction, demonstrate financial need, and must have high academic achievement. Must must have proof of being admitted to and/or enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education.
Submit: Completed application, proof on enrollment, current transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, self photo, and essay of no more than 500 words.
Nick and Helena Patti Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to to persons of Italian parentage for assistance in music or education for college students who are orphans or who were raised in foster
homes. Primary consideration is given to music majors, but other applicants are considered and encouraged to apply. Must have completed completed at least one year of college level coursework.
Submit: Completed application, current transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, self photo, and essay of no more than 500 words.
“If You Believe…” Scholarship
Eligibility: Any high school senior who has overcome adversity and is planning on pursuing some type of post-secondary education may apply for this scholarship.
Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on your “why”, an experience in which you’ve overcome adversity, and why you’re passionate about helping others.
Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicants must identify as female and be currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. university or college, either full-time or part-time. Applicants must be undergraduate Juniors or Seniors, or enrolled in graduate studies.
Submit: Completed application and 5 – 10 page essay.
Future Designer Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 17 years old and already accepted or enrolled in this educational organization.
Submit: Original artwork for a card design.
H&P Veterans Helping Veterans Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicants must be veterans of the armed forces and must plan to use their education to help fellow veterans.
Submit: Short online form and personal statement of no more than 300 words.
Price It Here, Inc. Scholarship Program
Eligibility: All applicants must be currently enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited US college or university for the semester that they are applying to receive the scholarship.
Submit: Copy of your school transcript and 500 word essay.
Create Real Impact Contest
Eligibility: Open to US residents between the ages of 14 and 22 years. Entrants must be enrolled as full-time students in an accredited educational institution.
Submit: Original work (video, music, creative writing, or graphic design) showcasing your idea for a SOLUTION or STRATEGY to end reckless and distracted driving.
NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (Award for AiC)
Eligibility: Women, genderqueer, or non-binary students in grades 9 through 12 are welcome to apply.
Submit: Completed online application which includes several short essays and multiple-choice sections.
Larry E. Sitzman Youth in Nebraska Agriculture Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicant must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a fully accredited college, university or technical college in an agriculture related degree program in Nebraska. Must have at least one full year of study remaining towards degree.
Submit: Online application, resume, and 1 letter of reference.
2022 Academic Excellence Award
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a college, university, or graduate school during the 2022-2022 academic year with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Submit: Online application, unofficial transcript, and 1500+ word essay.
ACES: The Society for Editing Scholarships
Eligibility: Applicants must be seeking degrees as enrolled college/university juniors, seniors, or graduate students during the summer and/or fall term in 2022. Scholarships are awarded without regard to the student’s major or field of academic concentration.
Submit: Resume, 3 references, and 250 – 500 word responses to prompts.
Homelight Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to U.S. residents in high school or college who will be attending an accredited university or college in Spring 2022. Eligible areas of study include: designing homes, building homes, placing people in homes, or housing and economic studies.
Submit: Online application and 100 – 200 word responses to prompts.
James Alan Cox Foundation Scholarship for Student Photojournalists
Eligibility: Must be at least a high school sophomore or older and taken at least one photography or related art class. College or technical applicants must have completed at least one year at a recognized college, university or professional school and have taken courses in photography or photojournalism. Graduate students can apply if they are enrolled in a journalism or photojournalism program.
Submit: Completed application, 250 word essay, 2 letters of reference, school transcript, financial data, and your portfolio (5 images or 2 videos).
Stop-Painting Scholarship
Eligibility: Any graduate student, graduate certificate or executive education student currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or related technical program may apply.
Submit: Completed online application and 750+ word essay.
Student Excellence Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicants must be graduating high school students who intend to enroll in a postsecondary institution, which may be a public or nonpublic university, college, or vocational/technical college. Must be a resident of Wisconsin.
Submit: Completed application and 3 letters of recommendation.
Advancement of Women in Sports & Entertainment Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to women who are full-time students in their undergraduate sophomore, junior, senior or first year of graduate school. A minimum GPA. of 2.75 is required and applicants are required to be enrolled in one of the following majors in order to be eligible: Communication Studies, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies or Journalism.
Submit: Completed application and 3 letters of recommendation.
Markforged Distinguished Black Engineers Grant
Eligibility: Open to Black American students studying any engineering field at a top-tier technical undergraduate or graduate university program in the US.
Submit: 500 – 1000 word essay.
Markforged Distinguished Women Engineers Grant
Eligibility: Open to women studying any engineering field at a top-tier technical undergraduate or graduate university program in the US.
Submit: 500 – 1000 word essay.
Innovation in Education Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to any high school or college student within the U.S. or Canada with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+.
Submit: Online application, letter of recommendation, self-photo, and an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation (no min or max word/page count).
Out to Protect Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to applicants that identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or transgender. Must also be currently enrolled in a basic law enforcement training program in the United States (sponsored or self-sponsored in a law enforcement academy, corrections academy, or 9-1-1 dispatcher academy).
Submit: Online application and optional (but strongly encouraged) letters of recommendation.
ServiceScape Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to students who are attending or who will attend an accredited college, university, or trade school in 2022. Must at least 18 years old.
Submit: Online application and essay of no more than 300 words.
MyMozaic Monthly Scholarship Contest
Eligibility: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or are lawfully living in the United States and at least 13 years of age on the date of their entry.
Submit: Your email address. Selection is based on the quality of students’ MyMozaic profile.
A Green World No-Essay Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to students at any education level who wants to leave the world better off than when they came into it.
Submit: N/A
10 Words or Less Scholarship
Eligibility: Anyone who is between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2022 may apply.
Submit: Short online application and 10 words or less response on why you deserve the scholarship.
Better Food, Better World Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to students that are currently, or planning on, studying any field that has to do with food, plant agriculture, nutrition, the environment, or the intersection of these fields.
Submit: 400 – 600 word essay.
War Veterans Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to active duty in the uniformed military services and honorably discharged U.S. military veterans who deployed abroad in support of one of the Overseas Contingency Operations. Must be currently enrolled and attending a four-year accredited college or university in the United States as sophomores or juniors at the time of application with an overall 3.0+ GPA and majoring in STEM-related fields.
Submit: Completed online application, response to 2 short answer questions, official transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, and DD214 or current service paperwork showing OCO service.
“Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship
Eligibility: Students at any education level, school, and field of study will be considered. No GPA requirement.
Submit: N/A
Car Review/Essay Scholarship for Hispanic and Latin Students
Eligibility: Open to Hispanic & Latin community members, who are permanent residents of the United States of America; at least 18 years old; and are pursuing an under-graduate or post-graduate program at an accredited university.
Submit: Online application and 1200 – 1500 word car review/essay.
3Wishes Women’s Empowerment Scholarship
Eligibility: All women planning to attend college sometime in the next two years are eligible.
Submit: 400 – 600 word essay.
Bachus & Schanker, LLC Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to any high school senior accepted to attend a four-year university by the time of the award, or full-time student attending a four-year university in the United States who carries a 3.0 GPA.
Submit: 800+ word essay about your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life.
AED Superstore College Scholarship
Eligibility: To be eligible, you must be a legal resident of the U.S. You must be either a college-bound high school senior or a student currently enrolled in an accredited university.
Submit: Short video (less than 3 minutes) or short essay (less than 500 words) on raising awareness for sudden cardiac arrest.
Education Matters Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicant must be at least 13 years old.
Submit: 250 word response to the prompt.
Cappex Easy Money Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 13 or older at the time of entry, and and currently planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university or trade school) located in the United States within four years.
Submit: A quick online form (no essay or minimum GPA requirement).
