Scholarships are not just available to college students and high school graduates. In fact, if you’re in your final year of high school – there are plenty you can apply for now!

Beauty & Wellness Professionals Scholarship

  • Award: $2,500
  • Deadline: Sept. 1st

Eligibility: Open to all students, including DACA recipients, who are currently enrolled in or applying to any of the following programs from an accredited school: cosmetology, esthetics, massage therapy, barbering, electrology, laser hair removal, trichology, makeup artistry, hair design, nail tech, salon management or other relevant beauty industry program.

Submit: Online application.

Dr. Edward V. Chavez Athletic Memorial Scholarship

  • Award: $1,900
  • Deadline: Sept. 1st

Eligibility: Any high school student who has lost one or both parents and has a passion for sports may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: 500 – 550 word essay on how losing a parent has affected you.

McAllen Emergency Room Student Scholarship

  • Award: $1,500
  • Deadline: Sept. 1st

Eligibility: High school students from Texas are eligible to apply if their parents are first responders or in similar positions.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay.

Cameron Impact Scholarship

  • Award: FULL tuition for four years
  • Deadline: Sept. 9th

Eligibility: Must be a graduating high school student for the class of 2023; maintain a minimum cumulative unweighted 3.7 GPA; demonstrate passion and commitment to extracurricular activities; and demonstrate active participation in community service and in civic-minded arenas.

Submit: Online Application, 2 letters of recommendation, and transcript certifying academic performance.

Bold Scientific Matters Scholarship

  • Award: $500
  • Deadline: Sept. 14th

Eligibility: Open to all students at any education level.

Submit: 150 – 300 word essay responding to the prompt.

GoSkills Scholarship

  • Award: $2,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 15th

Eligibility: Open to any female high-school or college student who wants to start her own online business.

Submit: An online application and a business plan for an online business.

Olympians Academy Leadership WINGS Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 15th

Eligibility: Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student with a 3.0 GPA pursuing a degree in professional leadership or management studies (business management, organizational leadership, etc.) may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay.

Second Chance Scholarship

  • Award: $1,211
  • Deadline: Sept. 18th

Eligibility: This scholarship will be awarded to one high school student who has experienced adversity in their life and is ready to make a change for the better.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay on why you want to make a change in your life.

Innovation Education Scholarship

  • Award: $500
  • Deadline: Sept. 20th

Eligibility: Open to any high school or college student within the U.S. or Canada with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+.

Submit: Online application, letter of recommendation, self-photo, and an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation (no min or max word/page count).

Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

  • Award: $250 – $10,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 26th

Eligibility: Entrant must be a 12th grader, college undergraduate, or graduate student for any part of the school year in which the contest is held. Contest is open to students worldwide, except where void or prohibited by law.

Submit: 800 – 1,600 word essay.

MyMozaic Monthly Scholarship Contest

  • Award: $2,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 29th

Eligibility: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or are lawfully living in the United States and at least 13 years of age on the date of their entry.

Submit: Your email address. Selection is based on the quality of students’ MyMozaic profile.

Mike Braem Memorial Scholarship

  • Award: up to $1,020
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Must be a high school or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in law enforcement.

Submit: 400 – 600 word essay.

Shout it Out Scholarship

  • Award: $1,500
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Open to applicants who are at least 14 years old.

Submit: Online application and 250 word response.

“Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship

  • Award: $25,000+
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Open to students at any education level. Students at any education level, school, and field of study will be considered. No GPA requirement.

Submit: N/A

“Because College is Expensive” Scholarship

  • Award: $500
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Open to high school juniors & seniors, adults looking to head back to school, current college students and anyone else looking to attend college or graduate school.

Submit: Short online application.

Cappex Easy Money Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 13 or older at the time of entry, and currently planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university or trade school) located in the United States within four years.

Submit: A quick online form (no essay or minimum GPA requirement).

Too Cool to Pay for School Scholarship

  • Award: $1,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Open to high school, college, and graduate school students of all years. Must be currently enrolled full time (in high school or at an accredited university) or planning on enrolling within 24 months.

Submit: Quick online application.

No Essay Smart Owl Scholarship

  • Award: $7,000
  • Deadline: Sept. 30th

Eligibility: Must be at last 16 years old, a US resident (excluded Rhode island and Michigan), and either be enrolled now, or will be enrolled within three months of entering, in a qualified high school, college or university.

Wrapping up with high school senior scholarships due in September
