A handy list of September scholarships for college students!

The last thing you want to worry about in college, is how to pay for it. But of course, that is an important detail.
Hunting down current scholarship opportunities takes time, though.
And when you’re in school there are other things that require your attention – like studying, homework, socializing, and adjusting to the routine of a new semester.
To help you out:
I put together a list of scholarships September 2022 deadlines, so you can focus your time on the applications instead of spending hours just looking for them.

ABFSE Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Applicant must have completed at least one semester (or quarter) of study in a program in funeral service or mortuary science education. Must also have at least one term or semester remaining in his/her program.
Submit: Online application form, personal essay, work/community service history, 2 letters of recommendation, and official transcripts.
Beldon Scholarship

Eligibility: Any current student who is involved in their community and pursuing a degree, certificate, or trade school in the field they’re passionate about may apply for this scholarship.
Submit: 400 – 600 word essay.
MaxHome Scholarship
Beauty & Wellness Professionals Scholarship

Eligibility: Open to all students, including DACA recipients, who are currently enrolled in or applying to any of the following programs from an accredited school: cosmetology, esthetics, massage therapy, barbering, electrology, laser hair removal, trichology, makeup artistry, hair design, nail tech, salon management or other relevant beauty industry program.
Submit: Online application.

Eligibility: Must be a graduating high school student for the class of 2023; maintain a minimum cumulative unweighted 3.7 GPA; demonstrate passion and commitment to extracurricular activities; and demonstrate active participation in community service and in civic-minded arenas.
Submit: Online Application, 2 letters of recommendation, and transcript certifying academic performance.

Submit: 150 – 300 word essay responding to the prompt.

JCCIA Frank Annunzio Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must be 50% or more of Italian ancestry, and must have proof of being admitted or enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education.
Submit: High school and/or college transcripts, two letters of recommendation, essay of 500 words or less, and a current photo.

Eligibility: Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student with a 3.0 GPA pursuing a degree in professional leadership or management studies (business management, organizational leadership, etc.) may apply for this scholarship.

Nicholas A. Pennipede Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Open to applicants that have been accepted to an accredited college or university and are going to be enrolled full-time within the next six (6) months; OR students that have been accepted to an optometry school and are going to be enrolled as an optometry student within the next six (6) months.
Submit: Online application, 500 – 800 word essay, and proof of enrollment.

Eligibility: Must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a culinary or hospitality program with a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Eligibility: Open to any high school or college student within the U.S. or Canada with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+.
Submit: Online application, letter of recommendation, self-photo, and an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation (no min or max word/page count).
Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

Eligibility: Entrant must be a 12th grader, college undergraduate, or graduate student for any part of the school year in which the contest is held. Contest is open to students worldwide, except where void or prohibited by law.
Submit: 800 – 1,600 word essay.

Eligibility: Must be at last 16 years old, a US resident (excluded Rhode island and Michigan), and either be enrolled now, or will be enrolled within three months of entering, in a qualified high school, college or university.

Key Thinkers Scholarship

Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (open to incoming post-secondary students).
Submit: Online application and 500 – 700 word essay.
Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs Scholarship
|
|
Eligibility: Open to students currently enrolled in or entering a certificate or degree program which leads to a manufacturing career on a full-time basis (12 or more credit hours). Must have a 2.5 GPA for trade, community, or technical colleges or 3.0 GPA for universities.
Submit: Online application and official transcripts.
Wrapping up with scholarships due in September
Those were all the September deadline scholarships I was personally able to verify for 2022.
