Hello & Welcome!

I’m Charlie and I’m one of the co-founders of College Life Made Easy!

At College Life Made Easy, my number one goal is to help busy & broke students THRIVE during their college experience.

This is a community FOR college students. Find real life advice on topics like finance, dorm living, organization and more.

Think of it as your go-to spot for actionable tips in your everyday college life.

I’m here to provide you REAL, applicable college advice.

I get right to what you need to know about saving money, staying organized and getting inspired so you can KICK. COLLEGES. ASS.

Other Things To Expect From
College Life Made Easy

One of the top issues faced by college students today is being BROKE.

College is SO expensive, am I right??

Struggling to make ends meet while attending school and then drowning in debt after graduation is all too common. It’s adding more stress to an already stressful time in life and it is definitely NOT fun.

I get that, I’ve been there.

It more than sucks to be paying for college on your own and barely have enough expendable money to buy groceries, let alone anything else.

Because of that:

I also share the best ‘Freebie Offers’ that are currently available.

It’s always nice to be able to get something for free, but it’s so much more appreciated when you have literally NO room in your budget to spare.

The best part is:

All of the freebie offers I share are SUPER easy to score. They usually only need you to fill out a mailing form, use an app or print out a coupon.

TIP: if you don’t have access to a printer, it costs only 10¢ per page to print at the library!

Plus:

No ifs, ands or buts about it – I test all the freebies myself to make sure they ARE legit. The last thing I want to do is waste your time when you’re already as busy as busy gets.

And while we are on the topic of freebies…

Since I know the value of FREE for college students, I created a Resource Library filled with useful printables!

This includes:

These printables are designed FOR college students. There are 30+ resources in there made just for you.

And like I mentioned before, it is FREE for your own personal use.

Now let’s get social!

I want to know how I can better help you – if there’s a topic you want me to explore, a printable you want me to make or anything else you want me to know about you:

Please leave a comment on the blog, find me on Instagram, send me a Tweet, holler at me on Facebook, message me on Pinterest or shoot me an email.

I really LOVE to hear from you guys!

About/Meet Your Bloggers

College Life Made Easy was founded a blogging duo: Charlie & Jen!

They are both passionate frugal-istas! If you want to know how to score free stuff with coupons – they’re your go to women.

Charlie attended the Ashland Institute of Massage and graduated in 2015. She is a licensed massage therapist and a stretching enthusiast.

You can find her hiking, reading, brainstorming ideas and befriending new dogs she meets in her spare time.

Jen is Sudoku junkie and is quite fond of all things sparkly and shiny. She is also a proud, terrible cook; her favorite day of the week is Sunday because it’s “fend for yourself” day for her family.

What Charlie does around the blog includes: designing original, printable content for subscribers, writing articles and taking care of technical issues.

She is still learning the technical parts as she goes – your patience is appreciated when something goes wrong on the website. ?

Jen is the one who manages public relations for the website and is an avid freebie finder. She answers emails, moderates comments and finds the best free stuff to share with readers.

  1. Once upon a time I was a college student, now I’m retired and have a meager income. I don’t have enough money to pay all my bills. I’ve tried all those other freebie sites but only get bogged down in surveys & frustration. Then I’m plagued by unwanted phone calls. Real freebies would be a great help. I’ve gotten nothing from the other sites. I have less than $4.00 for the next month to get by on. I’ve had a life of many struggles. Whatever free samples you have would be appreciated.

    1. Hi Wilane, the first place I would recommend you check out is our Free Stuff & Deals section on the blog here: https://collegelifemadeeasy.com/category/freebies/

We verify all the freebies ourselves and keep them updated with the latest ones available.
I would also recommend signing up for a Kroger account (or one of their 14 affiliate stores) as they give out a freebie every Friday. There is no purchase necessary for those weekly freebies.

As far as ways to make a little extra money, I have been using two platforms lately.
      1. Prolific studies – these are are surveys which are legitimate studies that pay decently. They only give you studies you qualify for, so you don’t start a survey only to find out you don’t qualify for halfway through. I have made over $65 with them in the past few weeks.
They pay out via PayPal or Circle – but I recommend signing up for a Circle account as there are no cash out fees associated (unlike PayPal). Money in your Circle account can be transferred directly to your bank account.
Again, I have personally been earning extra money this way. This has been one of the best online survey websites for making money that I have used. I have used more than a few and most are usually a waste of time, but not this website.
If you’re interested, you can sign up with Prolific here: https://www.prolific.ac/p?ref=Y369G66P
      And Circle here: https://pay.circle.com/signup

      2. If you have a smartphone, I have also been earning extra money with the Field Agent app. It has random tasks for you to do and then it pays out via direct deposit into your bank account.
There will be more jobs to do if you live in a bigger city.
Find out more about the app here: https://app.fieldagent.net/

      Hope that helps!

  2. I love the website and I just signed up again. And I had already signed up but I stopped getting any emails so I signed up with my new internet provider. So I confirmed my subscription so I hope the emails keep rolling in I love your site and I love what you are all about so I think that it is absolutely awesome so keep up the good work and my Kudos to you my friend.
